To include someone in a conversation, email thread or workstream so they are informed or able to contribute.
Example: Loop Legal in now, not when the launch email is already scheduled.
Also known as: loop you in, loop me in, loop them in, keep in the loop, kept in the loop
Context: Being looped in does not by itself mean that the person has cleared, endorsed or approved the matter.
